CALVIÀ 2000 ORDERS AN INVESTMENT PROJECT TO REPAIR THE ARTERY THAT TAKES THE DRINKING WATER TO CALA VINYES AND SOL DE MALLORCA
Hidrobal, the assignee company, finds a temporary solution to return the supply to these areas and finish with the intermittent cuts
Calvià 2000 has commissioned Hidrobal, the concessionaire of the drinking water supply in the municipality, the urgent drafting of the investment project to permanently fix the serious failure in the artery that supplies drinking water to the areas of Cala Vinyes and Sol de Mallorca . The solution is to replace the main conduction in that stretch that, apparently, is in a bad state causing water leaks requiring outages.
Hidrobal has made several repairs, since last Saturday 8th October, which have caused water outages at different times. However, these actions do not guarantee the continuity of the supply, so, until the company can not start the conduction replacement works, it has been decided to temporarily enable a supply system to Sol de Mallorca and Cala Vinyes using the Sol de Mallorca's tank, which is filled with trucks; at the same time, a pumping system has been started up to take water to all the areas affected.
