THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF CALVIÀ IS FOR THE FIRST TIME AND DIRECTLY ACCOUNTABLE TO CITIZENSHIP

The general Accountability session will take place at the Sala Palmanova on the forthcoming 3rd November, and as of 17th November the accountability sessions will be held in different areas

The Town Hall activates the web noetquedisindiferent.com to inform and receive questions and suggestions

The municipal government of Calvià will be accountable to the citizenship on 3rd November in the first session to be held at the Sala Palmanova. It is the first time that an activity of these characteristics, of direct participation of the residents of the municipality, result of the commitment to open the government's management to the citizenship, in the framework of policies of transparency and participation that are being launched in this legislature, is held in Calvià.

It will be the space for citizenship. During these sessions, the entire government team will be available to inform, explain and answer your queries. Citizens may participate by requesting information, making suggestions or making observations on any issue of municipal management of their interest, either generally or affecting their area of residence.

In addition, from today the web www.noetquedisindiferent.com will be activated in which the citizens can already start sending questions, comments or suggestions through a form, and in which information will be introduced to track the government's action and the investiture's commitments, in addition to other projects and initiatives.

Calendar of sessions

The first session will be held on 3rd November at the Sala Palmanova, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It consists of an Accountability per areas, in which the Mayor and councillors, in addition to general directors and managers of companies and public bodies will stand before the citizens:

Table II: Social Municipality (education, culture, sports, social welfare, housing, youth, international community, ...)

Table III: Sustainable Municipality (urban planning, transport, environment, rural world, animal welfare, heritage, ...)

Table IV: Open Municipality (transparency, participation, communication, innovation, security, ...)

The Accountability sessions per areas will be held as of 17th November, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with also the attendance of the Mayor, the corresponding zone councillors, in addition to the management team.
