From the CUC and within the family orientation programme 'Participa i suma't a l'èxit', the month of November begins with the realisation of 2 workshops.

The intention is to offer the families workshops and briefings to inform them about the educational and professional reality, in order to facilitate the task of collaboration and participation, and support the academic decisions of the sons and daughters.

The workshops that will be held in November are:

FUTURE UNDER CONSTRUCTION: AFTER ESO

Description: The training of adolescents is very important for the personal development; the school, social and family influences are significant when choosing and taking decisions. The participation of families in this process is essential to build a successful life project.

That is why, from the CUC, we bet on the families and we want to make them participants to encourage their participation and the awareness raising so that they can continue supporting from home the academic and professional studies of the youths after completing the compulsory secondary education, making known the current academic training plan and itineraries, according to the interests pursued by each individual.

This workshop will be held on the following days:
10th November from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at the University Centre of Calvià (Bendinat)
22nd November from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the Cultural Centre of Son Ferrer
23rd November from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at the IES Calvià.

FUTURE UNDER CONSTRUCTION: AFTER BACCALAUREATE
Description: Baccalaureate is a very complicated stage for teenagers and they must continue to decide their future.

Through this activity we want to transmit to families the importance of creating a good affective and supportive bond in the family environment that will give confidence and security to continue teaching and improving the academic and professional training in the near future. We will focus on the importance of continuing to study either formal or non-formal education studies after finishing high school. We will show the benefits and satisfaction provided when obtaining positive results through the training that will affect our life project.

This workshop will be held on the following days:
15th November from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at the University Centre of Calvià.
24th November from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. at the IES Calvià.
29th November from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the Cultural Centre of Son Ferrer
