THE TRANSPORT INTERCHANGER WILL AGAIN BE OPERATIONAL ALONG JANUARY 2017 WITH THE PURPOSE OF APPROACHING THE TOWN HALL TO THE CITIZENS
Throughout the month of January 2017, the Transport Interchanger building will reopen its doors to bring the municipal administration closer to the citizenry and facilitate the access to the municipal services, since it is located in a point well connected with public transportation and with greater parking facilities.
At the same time, the Town Hall will continue progressing in the coming months with its Electronic Headquarters, accessible from the web. In this line, new technological systems will be available in the new building that will allow the immediate digitisation of the documents that citizens register and move towards a "paperless" administration.
The Municipal Tax Office will be located at the Transport Interchanger and there will be a citizen information and attention service of the different municipal administrative services, as well as the registration of documentation.
The premises will only have the offices of both, the director of the Tax Collection Office and the councillor of the area of Palmanova and Son Caliu, Francisca Muñoz, who will have her space for the citizen attention service, previously located in the street of Saragossa of Son Caliu.
The Transport Interchanger is located next to the PAC (Health Centre) of Palmanova, at 300 m.from the (11027) bus stop in Av. de la Platja, where the lines 104, 105, 106, 107 and 811 of the Transport consortium of the Balearic Islands (TIB) operate.
It has its own parking with a capacity of 90 vehicles available to citizens, in addition to being at 200 m. from the public car park of Palmanova.
In addition, it is an accessible and adapted facility for people with reduced mobility.
It will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
