The Calvià Town Hall reports on the actions being carried out regarding the CEPA of Calvià.

The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés, visited the centre at the beginning of the legislature to learn about the state of the facilities in which there has been little maintenance in recent years. Since then, work is being done together with the Regional Ministry of Education with the intention of building a new centre. The facilities have already been visited with the IBISEC manager and technical and political meetings have been held with the Regional Ministry; in fact, another meeting is scheduled on Monday.

While the new construction -which deadline has been extended-, a specific action in the line of lowering the ceilings and putting new air conditioning is being considered.

The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor have been in talks this morning with the director of the centre, and Nati Francés, along with the Deputy Mayor for Maintenance, Juan Cuadros, and the Councillor Alfonso Molina, have moved to the CEPA to explain to the management team and the students the forecasts taken into account with regards the centre and the possibilities of acting imminently to remedy the deficiencies.
