THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN SA RUA DE CALVIÀ 2017 TO BE HELD ON THE FORTHCOMING 25TH FEBRUARY ARE NOW PUBLISHED

Jaume Vadell Redondo has won the poster competition with the motto "Sa Rua de Calvià 2017"

The Town Hall has published the terms and conditions to participate in sa Rua 2017 parade to be held on 25th February. They can be consulted here

The poster competition for Sa Rua 2017 was held before Christmas. The jury met on 10th January to decide, amongst the seven proposals presented, the winner of the poster competition for this year's parade. The winner is called Jaume Vadell Redondo and the motto of the poster is "Sa Rua de Calvià 2017". The prize amount is € 500.

Entries to participate in the parade can be submitted from 16th to 23rd February at Calvià Town Hall's Culture Department or at the cultural centres.

The gathering for Sa Rua parade will be at Ses Quarterades (Calvià village) at 4.30 p.m. From 6.30 p.m. there will be a DJ at the marquee located at the Town Hall's municipal parking. The prize-giving event is scheduled for 8 p.m. This year, € 5,060 will be shared out in 16 prizes distributed in different modalities: floats, groups and individual or couple, as well as a special prize for the best entertainment. Several barbecue units will be placed next to the marquee so that all those people who want can prepare their own barbecue.
