THE LOCAL POLICE OF CALVIÀ LODGES ABOUT 300 STREET VENDING COMPLAINTS DURING THE FIRST 5 MONTHS OF THE YEAR
Within the framework of the Municipal Ordinance control actions, the police arrested yesterday a street vendor who trafficked with drugs
The Local Police of Calvià has lodged 295 street vending complaints, from 1st January to 31st May 2017, in accordance with the Ordinance for the promotion of the coexistence in Calvià.
Within the framework of the Municipal Ordinance control actions, the Local Police detained yesterday a street vendor and confiscated 3 wrappings with about two grams of marijuana and 7 pills - which could be ecstasy - that he had hidden in a drain pipe from a workbench on Blanc street. He has been charged with a crime against public health.
Police officers were conducting municipal ordinance control tasks when they detected suspicious movements by the street vendor as he approached the two young men. One of them testified to the police that the now detained had offered them Marijuana, MDMA, cocaine and pills. The police officers arrested him after proving the transaction and finding the hidden narcotic substances.
