Both, the Town Hall and the Government Delegation call for the involvement of all sectors and will continue to intensify the coordination of police forces. The Mayor reiterates the need for more Civil Guard presence


The situations that some groups of tourists cause in some areas of the municipality have also been addressed in the course of the meeting with the Government Delegate, to whom have been submmitted the demands of the hotel maids, and which has also been attended by the deputy mayor for Security, Andreu Serra.

 


Both, the Mayor and the Government delegate have agreed that it is necessary the involvement of all sectors to move towards higher quality tourism, which is where the municipality wants to go. Both have highlighted the coordination between the Local Police and the Civil Guard to deal with the uncivic actions, and Alfonso Rodríguez Badal has reiterated the need to increase the presence of the Civil Guard in the first tourist municipality of the islands in a season that, in addition, is anticipated with great presence of visitors. María Salom has reiterated the commitment to increase reinforcements this season.
