The streets and squares of the village will be filled with Art on the day of Sant Joan to celebrate its patron.

CALVIÀ HOLDS THE SECOND EDITION OF JOANART WITH NOVELTIES THAT WILL CONVERT THE WHOLE VILLAGE INTO A STROLL THROUGH DIFFERENT ARTISTIC MANIFESTATIONS
On the occasion of the celebration of its patron saint, Sant Joan, the streets and squares of the village of Calvià will live this year the second edition of JoanArt with important novelties that will expand the activities to more open spaces.
An itinerary has been programmed, which will begin at 7 p.m. on 24th June, in the Ajuntament (Town Hall) with music by María Lacaria and an outdoor gastronomic tasting by Juan Pinel and Jonay de Flor de Sal, and the inauguration of JoanArt which includes a large exhibition in which participate more than 70 artists, amongst them, Joan Costa, Luis Maraver, Amable Villaroel, Carmen Cañadas, Ferrán Aguiló, José Aranda, Mariano Mayol, Paco Espinosa, Pep Canyelles, Pere Joan and Santiago Picatoste.
A short film exhibition will be able to be watched at Sa Societat theatre from 6 p.m.
Following the tour you will be able to walk through an Artisan Exhibition by Carrer Major, along which live painting by Sandra Renz will be able to be seen in s'Aljub, accompanied by a jazz concert. Aura Veus will play music a cappella in the plaça de l'Església (church square).
The tour will end in Ca'n Verger with two pieces of Microtheatre and live music by Pep Suasi.
