THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL INVESTS 263,647 EUROS IN IMPROVING PRIMARY AND PRE-EDUCATION SCHOOLS AND NURSERIES OF THE MUNICIPALITY


The Calvià Town Hall has invested a total of 263,647 euros in improving the public educational centres for the new school year.
 

The town halls are responsible for the maintenance of public school centres, and thus in Calvià, through the Municipal Institute of Education and Libraries, it has been invested in all primary and pre-education centres, as well as in the nurseries of Bendinat, Son Ferrer, Santa Ponça and Son Caliu, and in the CREC (Educational Reinforcement Centres of Calvià) of Son Ferrer and Bendinat. 

The investment made in the Primary and Pre-education Schools was 208,567 euros, for different actions such as the repair and painting of exterior and interior walls, the replacement of metal fences, the repair of electrical installations, refurbishment of patios or replacement of agglomerates and windows. 

As for municipal nurseries, 40,938 euros have been allocated for different repairs and improvements related to the installation of rubber, repair of blinds and walls, etc. In the two CREC centres, the installation of air conditioning in different spaces has involved an investment of 14,142 euros.
