ELECTRIC MOBILITY AGREEMENT PRESENTATION
The official presentation of the collaboration agreement for the development of a pilot project in order to implement the electric mobility in the Balearic Islands between the Conselleria de Territori, Energia i Mobilitat, the Consell de Mallorca and the last town halls of Mallorca that have joined, amongst them, Calvià, has taken place this morning.
The event took place at the Directorate General of Transports coinciding with the electric vehicle exhibition and test Day that has been held at the adjacent parking area from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., framed within the European Mobility Week, days in which Calvià participates with different activities.
The event was attended by the President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armengol, and the Regional Minister for Territory, Energy and Mobility, Marc Pons; and on behalf of Calvià Town Hall, the event was attended by the Councillor for Commerce and Natural and Urban Environment, Paquita Muñoz.
Calvià Town Hall is already part of the MELIB (Mobilitat elèctrica a les Illes Balears, Electric mobility in the Balearic Islands) network, and three recharging points for electric vehicles will soon be installed in municipal car parks.
