THE FEDERATION OF SENIOR CITIZENS OF CALVIÀ HOLDS ITS ANNUAL MEETING
Representatives of seven associations of senior citizens of the municipality have met with officials of the Town Hall
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal; the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés; the councillor for Social Welfare and Senior Citizens, Mayte Albertí; and representatives of the seven senior citizens associations that are part of the Federació de Majors de Calvià (Federation of Senior Citizens of Calvià) (FAMAC) have had their annual meeting this morning at the Town Hall.
FAMAC has requested the collaboration of the consistory to organise a gathering of all federated associations. It will take place on Friday 27th October at the Plaza de Europa in El Toro. The transfer will be made by coach, departing from each Senior Citizens Club. A community paella can be tasted at 1.30 p.m.and then the day will be enlivened with dancing. Calvià Town Hall will collaborate with the transport and the infrastructures necessary for the event.
The associations that are part of the FAMAC are as follows: Son Ferrer, El Toro, Palmanova-Magaluf, Portals, Galatzó, Santa Ponça and Peguera.
