Calvià 2000 will award the "Prize to the best recycled disguise" in the race "Hidrobal San Silvestre Calvianera", endowed with 250 euros

The municipal public company Calvià 2000 will award the "Calvià 2000 Prize to the best recycled costume", amongst the participants in the "Hidrobal San Silvestre Calvianera" race, which is traditionally celebrated on 31st December. This reward, worth 250 euros, will be given to the best disguise or set of costumes made with recycled materials or related to recycling.
Participants that come disguised according to this creative line will be able to have a picture taken in the Calvià 2000 "photocall", for a better recognition and evaluation by the jury, which will have representatives of Calvià 2000, Hidrobal and the Calvià Town Hall.

This initiative of the company that manages waste collection and water treatment is part of its 30th anniversary, as well as a communication and education campaign to increase recycling and promote respectful habits with the environment. Sustainability is, precisely, the main objective that must mark the next years of activity of the municipal company, within the framework of the circular economy.
