CALVIÀ TOWN HALL BEGINS THE PROCEDURES TO DELIMITATE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACT AGAINST THE AGGRESSION TO THE ENVIRONMENT THAT HAS BEEN PRODUCED IN A ZONE OF THE BENDINAT COAST
The consistory will act in coordination with Demarcation of Coasts as it is an area of maritime-terrestrial public domain
Calvià Town Hall has initiated the procedures so that those responsible for the foundation of an area of the coast of Bendinat can return it to its previous state. The consistory considers inadmissible the aggression that this action supposes to the environment.
This morning, urban discipline technicians of the Town Hall of Calvià have moved to the area to take images and collect information in order to issue the technical report that will be sent to Demarcation of Coasts as competent administration, as they are actions in an area of maritime-terrestrial public domain.
In a coordinated manner, Costas will send its report to the Town Hall in which those responsible for the events are identified, so that from the corresponding municipal department the urban discipline file will be initiated, in which the return of the intervened area to its original state, apart from other responsibilities that may be derived will be required. This municipal file will be opened since the work has been carried out without a licence.
The Town Hall has verified this morning in situ the aggression to the environment that has entailed for the area the foundation with the inlay of large stones, apart from hindering the passage for people in an area of public domain.
