CALVIÀ, THROUGH THE TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT INSTITUTE (IFOC), IS ESTABLISHED AS A PUBLIC AND FREE ENTREPRENEUR SERVICE POINT
The service allows to reduce and speed up procedures and deadlines for self-employed workers and people willing to start up a business
In order to facilitate self-employment and the creation of new companies, which help to deseasonalise the economy of the municipality and its growth, the Town Hall of Calvià has joined the Entrepreneur Service Points network (PAE), thus offering a service of creation of companies and registering freelancers completely free for people who take the initiative to create a company.
The PAE is a free service that facilitates the creation of new companies in a telematic way, which allows to speed up and reduce the terms of establishment and avoid trips to the different competent bodies. Until today, Calvià did not have any public or private PAE, which meant that an entrepreneur could not register for free in the municipality.
With the start-up of this new service, the Calvià Town Hall, through the Employment and Training Institute of Calvià (IFOC), closes the circle of the entrepreneur, since the services that are currently offered include the possibility of registering as a self-employed person and set up his own company.
Thus, in addition to the gratuity of the service, the PAE offers a number of advantages such as: a single procedure to set up a company, do a single trip to the PAE (IFOC), reduce and expedite the deadlines and enjoy the rest of the IFOC services aimed at companies and entrepreneurs. In addition, throughout the year, training courses in tax matters will be given by a professional expert in the field, in which they can be informed on the main tax figures that affect the business activity, such as the income tax and VAT, as well as withholdings and billing.
