CALVIÀ OFFERS FROM TODAY THE RENDA ÀGIL SERVICE

The residents of the municipality can now make their income tax return at the office that has been enabled thanks to the agreement between the Town Hall and the Conselleria d'Hisenda (Regional Ministry of Treasury)

The residents of Calvià already have, as of Monday, and for the first time, an open office in which the Renda Àgil service is offered to facilitate the fullfilment of the 2017 income tax return, following the agreement between the Town Hall and the Regional Government. The mayor, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, attended the signing of the agreement between the president of the Tax Agency of the Balearic Islands (ATIB), Catalina Cladera, and the president of the Municipal Tax Office of Calvià (OMT), M. Carmen Iglesias.

The Renda Àgil service is offered as of today Monday at the Municipal Services Centre office in Palmanova, from 4 to 8 pm. The Town Hall will open every working day until 2nd July, and provides six people who will assist the taxpayers of the municipality, trained to advise, fill in the statements and submit them electronically to the State Tax Agency (AEAT). The ATIB provides the telephone and computerised prior appointment service, as well as the computer applications and the specific material necessary for the service.

So far, of the 2,700 requests for appointment, 413 correspond to Calvià, being the second municipality with the most demand of all the islands, behind Ciutadella.

The service can be arranged in two ways: by phone 971 76 76 76, or through www.atib.es

The event was also attended by the manager of the Ajuntament de Calvià, Cristòfol Milan, and the director of the ATIB, Maria Antònia Truyols.
