THE JOURNALIST AND MEMBER OF THE OBSERVATORY OF EQUALITY OF RTVE MONTSERRAT BOIX WILL OFFER THE INAUGURAL CONFERENCE OF THE II CONFERENCE ON COMMUNICATION FROM THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS ORGANISED BY THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL IN COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF THE BALEARIC ISLANDS AND THE PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION BALEARIC SCHOOL OF THE REGIONAL GOVERNMENT
The II Conference on Communication from the Public Administrations that, for the second year and at a national level, the Calvià Town Hall organises with the collaboration of the University of the Balearic Islands and the Public Administration Balearic School of the Regional Government (EBAP), and that is aimed at professionals of the communication in the public sector, public administration workers, journalists and students and people interested in the subject of the communication from the public administrations, will take place on 12th and 13th November.
The second conference will start at the Casal de Peguera with a gender nature inaugural conference by Montserrat Boix, journalist of TVE and member of the Observatory of Equality of RTVE, under the title The public media before the challenge of feminism. The opening conference will be open to the general public.
In this edition, the areas for open discussion in the Conferences held last year have been expanded. Thus, in addition to the panels of experts, discussion tables and co-creation workshops for the resolution of challenges, this year face-to-face discussions and success stories will be introduced throughout the two days.
In addition to Montserrat Boix, speakers and participants that have been confirmed include Albert Sáez, journalist, consultant in Digital Transformers and university professor; Sergio Jiménez, web analyst specialist in eGobierno (eGovernment); Patricia Plaja, Communication of the Mossos d'Esquadra; Raúl Oliván, general director of Participation, Transparency, Cooperation and Volunteering of the Government of Aragon; Maria Ferrer, director of Diario de Mallorca; Luís Miguel Díaz-Meco, responsible for Communication in Local Administration, consultant, teacher and blogger; David Álvarez, analyst and consultant in Social Media and specialist in audience segmentation in social networks; Eli Vivas, expert in data journalism; Antonio Fernández Coca, vice-rector of Digital Campus and Transmedia of the UIB, and Tomás Andújar, journalist of the EFE Agency and member of the Union of Journalists of the Balearic Islands, amongst others.
The inscriptions are open on the conference web and have a reduced price until 15th October.
