Calvià, el Invierno Europeo which last year celebrated its first 25 years of existence, is a programme of free activities for visitors who stay in tourist establishments in the months of less tourist influx, from November to April. Its objective is to deseasonalise the tourism activity, boost the economic activity and contribute to an improvement in Calvià's employment.

The programme includes varied activities such as routes, walks, workshops, guided tours, excursions and special events. Participants have the opportunity to discover the historical heritage, learn about different aspects of the local culture, do different-level excursions, amongst many other activities.

Amongst the activities, the Galatzó municipal estate is especially promoted with walking excursions or workshops that take place in the estate, and also excursions are scheduled to 'hidden areas of Calvià to be discovered' and to coves of the municipality that consist of bus tours through different areas of Calvià with historical and landscape explanation.

The Calvià, el Invierno Europeo programme started in 1992 and has been developing continuously since then, so this season is 26 years old.
