THE 'ENTREPENEURS' ACCELERATOR OF CALVIÀ' PROGRAMME CONCLUDES WITH THE EXHIBITION OF BUSINESS MODELS BEFORE A GROUP OF EXPERTS

The programme's second edition was closed at the municipal youth building 'Es Generador' on 22nd November.

The Training and Employment Institute of Calvià (IFOC), has held this year the second edition of the 'Entrepeneurs' Accelerator' programme, which aims to develop the skills and entrepreneurial abilities of fifteen people.

During the two months of the programme, they have received training, coaching and consultancy to be able to generate self-employment projects with high added value proposals.

The Accelerator programme ended with an event at the municipal building 'Es Generador', in which the participants explained the different business projects related to the fields of education, innovation, support in the search for employment, Mallorcan products marketing and promotion of healthy eating, amongst others.

Once each entrepreneur had exposed his or her idea and business model, a group of experts formed by professionals from the entrepreneurship field contributed with their valuations.

The members of the jury this year were: Amor Pérez Martínez, manageress of 'La Caixa' companies in the Calvià area; Ana Seijo, founder of the Wohaby coworking entrepreneurs' consultant and mentor; Jaume Pujol, founder and creative director at Coent, Solucions Creatives; Marina Noguerol, technician of the Institut d'Innovació de les Illes Balears; Nieves Villena, coach and financial educator, and Toni Sierra, founder and director of the NGO Treball Solidari.
