CALVIÀ TOWN HALL PRESENTS AT THE CONSELL DE MALLORCA THE GENERAL PLAN REVISION'S ADAPTATION TO THE PIAT
It is a necessary procedure to continue with the processing of the PGOU Draft of Calvià
Calvià Town Hall has presented at the Consell de Mallorca the General Plan Revision's adaptation to the PIAT (Tourist Areas Intervention Plan), to be able to continue with the PGOU revision that, at the moment, is in the phase of Analysis and incorporation of suggestions presented during the Draft's public exhibition, prior to the initial approval proposal.
The PIAT's initial approval by the Consell de Mallorca, has meant the suspension of the General Plan Revision of Calvià processing, until the Town Hall presented the adaptation document -which has now been delivered- and until this document is not approved by the Consell.
The differences between the PGOU draft and the PIAT consist in that what the PIAT states on number of places does not match with the existing ones, and the drafting of the urban planning regime of the existing tourist buildings.
The Town Hall hopes that the document prepared by the General Plan Revision office will serve as a basis to unblock the situation as quick as possible.
