CALVIÀ RECEIVES MORE THAN 129,000 EUROS FROM THE CONSELL TO CARRY OUT INVESTMENT ACTIONS, WHICH WILL BE INTENTED TO IMPROVE A PUBLIC AREA OF ES CASTELLOT IN SANTA PONÇA
The Calvià Town Hall has signed this morning, together with the rest of the town halls of the island, except Palma, the collaboration agreement with the Consell de Mallorca to carry out investment actions, which the Consell has allocated with a total of 10 million euros in the 2018-2019 call.
With this agreement, Calvià obtains 129,534.93 euros, which will go towards a project to renew a public area in the Es Castellot area of Santa Ponça. The square to be upgraded is at the junction of Huguet des Far and Ramon de Montcada streets, and works are planned such as improving accessibility, fixing the fountain or improve the square, amongst others.
The agreement signing event took place in Sineu and was attended by the first deputy mayor, Andreu Serra, and the deputy mayor of Roads and Works, Juan Cuadros. The signing event has been carried out with the president of the Consell, Miquel Ensenyat, and the executive director of Local Development, Joan Font.
