Several incidents related to drunkenness nightlife in clubs of Peguera and Magaluf took place last weekend
The Local Police of Calvià has confirmed this weekend that 'Tempus' discotheque in Peguera, where many teenagers living in the area and other municipalities go, was open at 7.30 a.m., when the regulations set the limit at 6 a.m. Given this circumstance of serious infringement, the nightlife establishment faces the possible sanction of closing the premises for up to six months and a fine ranging between 1,001 and 10,000 euros as provided in art.107 of the Autonomous Activities Law. The balance is one positive test in alcohol with administrative sanction, another for the presence of drugs, another for drug possession and the immobilisation of a vehicle. In addition, local officers have carried out preventive controls to avoid the practice of bottle parties in Peguera.
In the same line, preventive controls have been carried out in Magaluf and Palmanova, especially in the vicinity of Pub Manos and Panama Jack in the hours close to the closure of these establishments.
