THE REI EN JAUME FESTIVITIES KINGS' ELECTION
The Christian and Saracen groups chose, on Monday evening, those who will be their representatives in the Festes del rei En Jaume 2019.
Mario Cano, of the Colla Real, will be the king En Jaume, and Fernando Morilla, of the Colla al-Madina, will be Abu-Yahya. The applicants had to pass various fun tests to be chosen. The mayor, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion, responsible for the Department of Culture, Nati Francés, crowned the kings.
