The part of Palmira beach in Peguera that closed yesterday, is open

The part of the Palmira beach in Peguera that closed yesterday has opened this morning. It was closed preventively because of a spill that occurred in the Malgrats torrent bed that was due to the sewage network jamming caused by solid elements, such as wipes, grease and gravel, and that could be stopped promptly.

Three trucks of Calvià 2000 went to the area to vacuum the spill and prevent more from reaching the beach, and the torrent was disinfected with chlorine. At the same time, Calvià 2000 is carrying out cleaning work on the clogged pipe that has been scheduled at night in order to affect traffic as little as possible.
