SANTA PONÇA HEALTH CENTRE EXTENDED WITH 10 SURGERIES AND HAS THE FIRST PRIMARY CARE RESEARCH LABORATORY OF THE BALEARIC ISLANDS
The Santa Ponça Health Centre already has 10 more surgeries and the first Primary Care research laboratory in the Balearic Islands and the second in the entire State.
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the president of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Francina Armengol, have visited the new facilities of the Health Centre which, with the extension, has a total of 28 surgeries: 16 for adults, 4 for pediatrics, 4 for Mental Health, 3 for the Women Attention Unit and 1 for Pharmacy.
The Health Service of the Balearic Islands has invested almost 1 million euros, and a parking area of 1,100 m2 surface is added.
The visit was also attended by the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion and councillor for the Santa Ponça area, Nati Francés; the regional minister for Health and Consumer Affairs, Patricia Gómez; the general director of the Health Service, Juli Fuster and the Primary Care manager of Mallorca, Miquel Caldentey, accompanied by the centre's coordinator, Ignacio Ramírez.
