A DOZEN OF MINORS WHO WERE PLAYING FOOTBALL ON THE SON CALIU PITCH AND BREACHING THE COVID REGULATION HAVE BEEN DENOUNCED
It is the fourth time that the officers have to act due to these circumstances
The Local Police of Calvià has lodged 40 complaints in the last four days for not following the Covid regulations. Yesterday at noon the Police drew up twelve official reports against minors under 13 or 14 years old because they were breaching the Covid regulations since they were playing on the Son Caliu public football pitch. This is the fourth time it has happened since the lockdown was lifted. Despite the municipal warnings and alerts that the pitch could not be used, and even less without communicating it, the offence has been committed again in the Son Caliu pitch, as well as in the Ágora Portals school pitch or in a 7-a-side football pitch in Palmanova.
Likewise, in the regular traffic controls on the main roads of the municipality, in the last four days, the Calvià Local Police officers have stopped 45 vehicles with the result of 15 complaints to people who were not cohabitants and who were not wearing the face mask protection when travelling in the same car. Regarding the volume of complaints, it should also be noted that eight have been lodged early in the morning, five against young people who were near the Santa Ponça School and against three pedestrians who were neither wearing a face mask nor keeping a safety distance on the beach promenade in Palmanova. For the same reason, and at night, four more individuals who were in front of a bar in Peguera were fined. It should also be added the fine to a tourist from Magaluf who was smoking on the street.
Sexual offences
On Saturday afternoon, the Local Police of Calvià arrested a man who was masturbating in front of four girls of about 15 years old in Costa de la Calma. The young girls will lodge a complaint with the Civil Guard.
