Calvià will hire 106 unemployed people.

CALVIÀ TOWN HALL WILL HIRE 106 PEOPLE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE REACTIVA 2020 PROGRAMME OF THE SOIB

The registration period for the hiring of a first group of 67 people who will start in December has been opened this week

The IFOC has enabled an assistance service to help carry out the registration procedures

Calvià Town Hall, through the Calvià Training and Employment Institute (IFOC) and all its public bodies (Calvià 2000, Municipal Tax Office, IMEB and Llar de Calvià) has started this week the registration to cover 67 work places for a 4-month hiring period, to collaborate in most municipal areas and companies starting in December.

This is the Reactiva 2020 Programme, the initiative launched by the SOIB that is carried out within the framework of collaboration with local corporations, and is configured as an active policy to promote employment. This programme is co-financed with funds from the FSE (European Social Fund), within the framework of theYouth and Regional Employment Operational Programmes 2014-2020; with funds from the State through the Sectorial Conference on Employment and Labour Affairs; with funds to promote sustainable tourism through the Commission for the Promotion of Sustainable Tourism, and with a contribution from the Calvià Town Hall of 269.294,96€.

Calvià will have a financing of 1.006.064,84€, thus allowing to hire 106 people in two 4-month hiring shifts.

The first group of people will start working in December and will affect the following profiles:

Line 1: Aimed at 28 unemployed young people, under 30 years old, registered in the national Youth Guarantee system. The job offers aimed at this group include profiles that require higher studies (higher degree vocational training studies or university studies) and professional profiles of cleaning, kitchen or office staff.

Line 2: Aimed at 13 long-term unemployed people, over 30 years old, registered as unemployed in the SOIB for at least 12 of the last 18 months. In this case, jobs related to the maintenance of buildings and urban facilities have been offered.

Line 3: Aimed at 26 unemployed people, over 30 years old, registered for a minimum of 3 months as unemployed in the SOIB or with a shorter duration in the case of people with layoffs. This line is aimed at administrative profiles, building maintenance staff, geriatric assistants and cleaning staff.

The IFOC has enabled an online, telephone and prior appointment service to help people from Calvià in the registration process and facilitate them the completion of telematic and on-line procedures. The registration process will end on Sunday 15th November, and could be extended in certain cases.
