CALVIÀ TOWN HALL HAS OBTAINED THE ISO 9001: 2015 QUALITY CERTIFICATION FOR THE ENTIRE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF ALL IFOC TRAINING ACTIONS
Since December 2019, the IFOC (Calvià Training and Employment Institute) has worked intensively to obtain the ISO 9001: 2015 quality certification for the entire management system of all training actions.
This work has been carried out in several phases that range from the diagnosis of the organisation, the preparation of all the documentation, the training process for all the personnel and the implementation that began last June, until leading to an internal audit in September 2020, and finally obtain the certification last Friday 27th November.
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, has expressed his satisfaction with obtaining the certification because, in addition to complying with a legal imperative, this quality seal will allow to increase the IFOC training offer, have better conditions when obtaining external financing at the regional, local and international level, in addition to the consequent recognition that having said international accreditation implies.
During the implementation process, IFOC contracted technical assistance with the TUV-SUD company, and the final certification was carried out by AENOR.
This entire process responds to Order TMS / 369/2019 of 28th March, which regulates the state registry of training entities of the vocational training system for employment, and the common processes of accreditation and registration of the training entities to teach training specialties included in the Catalogue of Training Specialties.
