CALVIÀ TOWN HALL TRANSFERS THE USE OF A SPACE IN SANTA PONÇA TO THE NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION SOS MAMÁS BALEARES
The social entity that helps people without resources at basic levels such as food and clothing, is thus established in the municipality
Calvià Town Hall has signed an agreement with the non-profit association SOS Mamás Baleares for the use transfer of a space that is located in the basement of the CREC facilities in Santa Ponça, in order to be used as a warehouse by the social entity.
The purpose of the agreement is to collaborate with the SOS Mamás Baleares association that is thus established in Calvià to help alleviate the effects of the economic and health crisis caused by Covid-19.
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, has signed the agreement with the president of the SOS Mamás Baleares association, María Ascensión Maestre, as well as the deputy mayor and president of the IMEB, Olga Granados, who is the one assigning the premises. The Deputy Mayor for Social Cohesion and Equality, Nati Francés, and the Councilwoman for Social Development, María Carmen Rojano, also attended the agreement-signing event, since the collaboration and referral of families to SOS Mamás will be established. through the Social Development Department.
The agreement establishes the temporary use transfer of the municipal space so that the entity can use it as an auxiliary warehouse to carry out its corporate purpose, which is to help people without resources at basic levels such as food and clothing, amongst others.
