Accessibility improvements in CEIP Cas Saboners.

The Regional Ministry for Education invests more than 473 thousand euros for accessibility improvements in the CEIP Cas Saboners primary education school

The Regional Ministry for Education and Vocational Training of the Government of the Balearic Islands has put out to tender the project to improve CEIP Cas Saboners primary edcuation school in Calvià, which envisages the centre's accessibility and fire protection improvement, for a total of 473.997,60 euros and an execution period of 6 months. This action will put an end to architectural barriers and will benefit 269 students at the centre and those of the future.

The project includes the following actions: the connection of the two main existing buildings by expanding them on each of the floors, with the corresponding interior redistribution, which includes installing a lift and three accessible bathrooms, and the connection of the interior patio of the 1989 building with the existing dining room, by opening a new access, equipped with an outside staircase.

This action of more than 473 thousand euros, is one of the works planned in the Educational Infrastructures Plan 2016 to 2023 of the Government of the Balearic Islands.
