Both, Calvià Town Hall and the Regional Ministry of Mobility and Housing meet to review the actions in terms of protected housing
The mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and the Regional Minister of Mobility and Housing, Josep Marí Ribas, met this Tuesday to review the actions that, in terms of protected housing, are underway in the municipality. This is the first meeting after the counsellor took office on 15th February.
Both, Calvià Town Hall and the Regional Ministry for Mobility and Housing have underway, through the Ibavi, the construction of 48 official protection houses in Magaluf, financed 50% by each administration. On the other hand, the Town Hall has reported the tender for 99 protected homes to be built in Santa Ponça with municipal financing.
Protected housing is a legislature commitment promoted by both administrations.
The meeting was also attended by the deputy mayor, head of Housing, Nati Francés, and the Town Hall's Housing general director, Eduard Vila. On behalf of the Regional Ministry, the meeting was attended by the general director of Housing and Architecture, Eduardo Robsy; the general director of Mobility, Jaume Mateu, and the Ibavi's manageress, Cristina Ballester.
