New schedules and use conditions of Es Generador and Galatzó Skatepark

Calvià Town Hall's Youth Service is adapting its facilities to de-escalation and includes novelties after the new measures' update, adapting them to the health alert's level 2.

Es Generador

Es Generador returns to its normal schedule: from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It will be closed on Sundays and holidays.
An important novelty is that since 29th April, access to Es Generador's facilities is WITHOUT PRIOR APPOINTMENT (except in the case of directed activities, which will require prior registration).

Also, from 29th April, people can use the outdoor area at Es Generador without prior appointment and in groups of a limit of 6 people, as a youth meeting point without being a directed or exclusively sports activity, depending on the space available, respecting the security measures of interpersonal distancing and the mandatory use of face mask and registration.

Regarding Es Generador Skatepark, it will be used exclusively for sports, without prior appointment, complying with the capacity according to the current regulations and registration will also be mandatory for its access. It will be limited to 2 children under 12 years of age who must always be accompanied by an adult.

Galatzó Skatepark

On the other hand, there are also novelties regarding the Galatzó Skatepark schedule, which delays its closing time by one hour, being as follows:
- From Tuesday to Sunday, holidays included, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Closed on Mondays

People must always comply with the capacity according to the current regulations and the mandatory use of face mask and registration. For safety and to avoid accidents (now that there may be more influx of skaters), access to the rink will remain for people over 10 years old and limited to 2 minors between 10 and 12 years old who must always be accompanied by an adult.

Youth Activities

The Youth Service already plans to carry out face-to-face directed activities, in this case, with prior registration and always complying with the capacity allowed according to the current regulations and with the established safety and hygiene measures.

Due to the health situation, face-to-face activities had been put aside, increasing the presence of the Service and contact with youth through its social networks and Radio Calvià section, giving preference to online meetings and activities.

All the information will be updated on the Youth's social networks as well as the novelties and events that are scheduled:
