The Treball Solidari entity is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to carry out activities of a social nature, promoting the creation of companies with resident women, in situation or risk of social and / or financial exclusion in Calvià.
Calvià Town Hall has collaborated in recent years with the entity in the development of Confía, a programme through which microcredits are granted to women in the municipality in vulnerable situations so that they can develop a business idea and work on it to make it viable. The objective is to allow the women who participate to get out of the situation of economic vulnerability in which they find themselves.
In the last collaboration of the Town Hall with Treball Solidari in relation to the Confía programme, two new lines of microcredits were opened: for families in vulnerable situations and for SMEs in the municipality.
