CALVIÀ TOWN HALL SIGNS A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH PROJECTE HOME BALEARS

The entity receives a subsidy of 3.000 € to carry out their social work

Calvià Town Hall has signed a collaboration agreement with Projecte Home Balears. Through this agreement, the social entity receives a subsidy of 3.000 € to carry out the association's yearly programme.

The agreement has been signed by the mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal and Jesús Mullor Román, executive president of Projecte Home Balears. The agreement signing event was also attended by the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion, Nati Francés; the councillor for Social Development, M. Carmen Rojano; the general director of Social Development, Cristina Gamundí and David Martínez, executive director of the entity.

With the signing of the agreement, Calvià Town Hall supports the therapeutic and social reintegration activities of the users of the municipality who undergo a treatment at Projecte Home, with the aim of motivating them to carry out different productive activities. In 2020 the entity attended 19 people from the municipality of Calvià, with an average age of 36,7.

Projecte Home Balears began its activity in 1987 to respond to the social problem of drug addiction. Since then, its objective has been to serve people with addictions to toxic substances, favouring their recovery and personal development, as well as their proper integration into society. Projecte Home currently has different therapeutic and social reintegration projects in operation, and is also working on the development of preventive actions.
