International Women's Day Act
On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Calvià Town Hall has organised the Public Act of Rejection, Desire and Remembrance of the victims of sexist violence, in which the 44 women murdered by their partners or ex-partners since June 2021 have been remembered.
The event, which took place on Diego Salvá Lezaún St., on the esplanade in front of the IFOC and the Post Office, was attended by the municipal government team, headed by Mayor Alfonso Rodríguez Badal, and part of the opposition groups, as well as students from the Cas Saboners School in Magaluf, and the representative of the recently created Moviment Feminista de Calvià entity.
