THE COUNCIL FOR CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS OF CALVIÀ VISITS THE FUTURE PUIG DE SA MORISCA ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM

A group of counsellors from the Council for Children and Adolescents of Calvià have visited the future Puig de sa Morisca Archaeological Museum during a working day.

The children and adolescents of the Consell have been welcomed by the mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal; the deputy mayor for Social Cohesion, Nati Francés; the councillor for Social Development, Childhood and Senior Citizens, M. Carmen Rojano, and the councillor for Heritage, Francisca Muñoz, as well as by the staff responsible for the Town Hall's Heritage Department, headed by Manel Calvo.

The purpose of this visit was for them to give their opinion on the future museum, explain what they hope to find in a museum and how to make it attractive to children and adolescents. From here, they have made proposals that will be transferred to the people responsible for the museum so that they can study them and implement them if possible. They have been divided into two working groups, and the proposals have revolved around "A museum for us" and "I would come to a museum if...".
