Calvià ENCAMINA 2022-23
CALVIÀ TOWN HALL LAUNCHES AN INNOVATIVE PROGRAMME AIMED AT LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE, WHICH COMBINES GUIDANCE, TRAINING AND AN ECONOMIC INCENTIVE OF 1.800 EUROS
Project financed by the European Union - Next Generation EU
Calvià Town Hall, through the Calvià Training and Employment Institute (IFOC), in line with its determined and constant commitment to the implementation of active employment policies in the municipality, launches the "Calvià Encamina" programme in May. This is an initiative framed within the "SOIB Territorial projects for vulnerable groups" grants call for 2021-23, financed by the European Union - Next generation EU.
This project, which has a maximum duration of 14 months, is new in the municipality as it includes the implementation of three actions: guidance and support actions in employment research, through integrated insertion itineraries, with a maximum duration of 120 hours; a training plan of more than 100 hours in the field of languages and/or catering, and people who have successfully completed both actions may receive an economic incentive of 1.800 euros.
The actions derived from this call will be aimed at vulnerable groups, that is, at people who have special difficulties in accessing the labour market, specifically long-term unemployed people aged 30 or over, who have remained in a situation of unemployment for 12 months within the 18 months prior to the time their participation in the project begins.
All those interested people may register at the SOIB, through a link created for this purpose on its website. After, they will go through a reception and selection process that will determine the final group of participants. It is expected that a maximum of 21 people will complete the programme. For its part, the IFOC has enabled a link on its website www.ifoc.es/contigo to facilitate the entire initial process.
All guidance and training activities will take place at the IFOC premises in Palmanova.
