THE MAPS OF THE VI BETART ROUTE ARE NOW PUBLISHED

To inform on the new actions that have been carried out during this year's edition

The informative maps of the VI BetArt artistic route have been published to inform on the new actions that have been carried out during this year's edition in the areas of Son Ferrer and El Toro. The five new interventions, selected from more than 60 applications and 83 different projects, have been carried out in March.

To facilitate visiting the different artistic interventions, in each edition of BetArt a map is published with the specific locations. The brochures are available in Spanish, Catalan, English and German; and they can either be downloaded from the Town Hall's website or collected physically at municipal offices.

The artists or collectives selected to carry out the artistic interventions of BetArt 2023 have been: Anastasia Bellous with the project «Escuela», Alex Gambin with «Imaginario colectivo», Dani Hache with his proposal «Limones», Elena González with her proposal «Better together” and Rona Glantz with “Desenre2”.

The BetArt Calvià project is a call that is becoming increasingly popular and that began in 2012 with the aim of promoting artistic creation in Calvià. One of the main objectives during the different editions has been to put the interventions in dialogue with the space in which they are carried out and the activities that take place around the works. In addition, the performances make artistic talent visible and improve public spaces.

The existing routes are as follows:
Route I: Palmanova, Son Caliu and Magaluf
Route II: Santa Ponça and Galatzó residential estate
Route III: Peguera
Route IV: Cas Català, Illetes, Bendinat, Portals and Costa d'en Blanes
Route V: Calvià village and Es Capdellà
Route VI: Son Ferrer and El Toro
