Calvià Town Hall allocates 135.760 € in scholarships for its students to continue studying
Students enrolled in post-compulsory and higher studies can submit applications to obtain municipal aid until next Thursday 27th July. These are the aids granted by the Scholarship Service of the Municipal Institute of Education and Libraries (IMEB) and which was launched in 2015.
These scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year are intended to subsidise part of the expenses of enrolled students in public or private centres to study vocational training cycles, university degrees and master's degrees, Erasmus, entrance exams at different levels, and socio-educational scholarships for students in their 2nd year of high school or 1st or 2nd year of university degree.
AID RATIO AND AMOUNT
200-400 € for vocational training cycle studies
300-500 € for university degree studies
1.000 € for university master's degree studies
Up to 7.200 € for Erasmus mobility
100 € for entrance exams for people over 25, 40, and 45 years of age and vocational training cycles
Socio-educational scholarship for students in 2nd year of high school or in 1st-2nd year of university degree
Calvià Town Hall has allocated a total amount of 135.760 € to these grants. To obtain this aid, the income level of the families will be taken into account and it is necessary to make a request by Registry and direct it to the IMEB.
