What is the secret to live 100 years in full health? Natividad is clear about it, she has explained it herself: "eat little, sleep a lot and drink a glass of wine every day." On Friday Natividad Fernández Moreno celebrated her birthday and name day at the Casal de Peguera surrounded by family, friends and neighbours.

The Peguera and Cala Fornells Neighbourhood Association has given her a commemorative plaque and the mayor of Calvià, Juan Antonio Amengual, representing the Town Hall, a bouquet of flowers.

Natividad was born on 8th September 1923 in the Jaén town of Torres, in the Sierra Magina region. She lived there until she moved to Jaén, then to Madrid and finally 47 years ago to Mallorca, being a Peguera resident. She had six children, five of whom are living, four in Mallorca and one between Madrid and the island. She has twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
