They are Saúl, Raquel, Naiara and Gael, four 1st year of ESO (Obligatory Secondary Education) students from IES Calvià who represent the thirty students from various centres that are part of the Childhood and Adolescence Council of the municipality. They have met with the mayor, Juan Antonio Amengual, and a good part of the municipal Executive to explain their opinions and proposals that they will also send to the political groups of the Parliament of the Balearic Islands.

Issues such as security in the municipality, maintenance of roads and urban furniture, cleaning and adaptation of sports facilities or public transport have been some of the topics discussed. The students have recounted the transition from primary to secondary education, how they have felt about the experience and what can be done to improve what for them represents a momentous step.
