CALVIÀ RESIDENTS WILL ENJOY A 25% DISCOUNT ON THEIR MALLORCA LIVE FESTIVAL TICKETS
They can be purchased starting this Monday at the Town Hall, as long as residence in the municipality is proven
Those who have already purchased them will have free entry to a concert of their choice at Es Jardí
Calvià residents will be able to enjoy a 25% discount on their season ticket to the Mallorca Live Festival, to be held from 13th to 15th June in Magaluf. This was announced by the mayor, Juan Antonio Amengual, during the presentation of the mobility plan and parallel activities of the MLF, which took place this Wednesday at the Sol House hotel in Magaluf.
Those who want to purchase a 1, 2 or 3-day ticket for the Festival must stop by the Town Hall starting next Monday and from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. There they must show their ID and carry a bank card with which to pay the corresponding price, directly deducting 25% of its cost.
For Calvià residents who have already purchased their season ticket or ticket, Mallorca Live and the Town Hall will compensate them in a special way: by giving them a free ticket to any of the concerts and parties scheduled this summer in the Es Jardí cycle, with the only exception of the Bresh party, which will allow them to choose between artists such as La Oreja de Van Gogh, Carlos Vives or Amaral amongst many others. To do so, they must send an email to entradas@calvia.com including as proof the ticket purchased before 13th May, plus a Calvià resident certificate and the name of the artist or party they wish to attend for free. The application period will end on 31st May.
In this way, music fans in the municipality will be able to enjoy a concert at zero cost, taking into account the technical impossibility of returning the amount of season tickets or tickets already purchased. In any case, the economic value of this free entry in many cases exceeds the amount of a 25% discount for the MLF.
On the other hand, the organisation of the Mallorca Live Festival has confirmed the continuity of the mobility plan that offers transport services for attendees from various points on the island, including shuttles from Palma and the Son Bugadelles Industrial Estate. Public-private collaboration is expanded this year, involving the town halls of Alcúdia, Andratx and Llucmajor and the TIB to reinforce public transport routes. Mobility and parking restrictions will be established near the venue, and attendees are urged to avoid the use of private vehicles, opting for public transportation offered by the festival.
Both, Calvià Town Hall and Mallorca Live Festival join forces in this way so that people residing in the municipality can enjoy a summer of live music, and they commit to continue working together to expand the existing advantages.
