CALVIÀ PREPARES FOR A EURO CUP FINAL WITH ZERO ALTERCATIONS IN MAGALUF

Reinforcements from the Civil Guard and Calvià Local Police will closely monitor the competition so that it takes place without serious incidents

The Calvià Local Police and the Civil Guard are going to intensify the number of agents and coordinate their work on the street to guarantee that the celebration of the Euro Cup final next Sunday goes off without incidents. The confrontation between the Spanish National Team and the English National Team will attract a crowd of fans, especially in the Illes Pitiüses square, where around two thousand football fans are expected.

To ensure security coverage for tourists and residents, the Local Police and the patrols of the Citizen Security Unit of the Civil Guard reinforce their presence in the Magaluf area, known for its high concentration of young English fans. The objective is to guarantee an immediate and effective response to any potential incident.

In addition to the collaboration between local agents and the Civil Guard, rigorous control campaigns have been implemented. The Local Police of Calvià has intensified surveillance over the prohibition of taking alcoholic beverages and glasses onto the street and the control of television screens, ensuring that images are only projected inside establishments and not on public roads.

With these measures, Calvià is committed to maintaining security and order during the long-awaited Euro Cup final, with the goal that all fans can enjoy the event in a safe and controlled environment.
