As from the beginning of May the local police have officially incorported 44 tourist police into the force for this summer period. Their main aims are to tend to the safety of the residents and the visitors of Calvia while at the same time maintain a higher police presence required throughout the summer season .

The central Police have extended their services by installing five new 42 plasma screens which will monitor the area. The twelve new vigilants cameras that have been installed in Paguera will also be controlled from this centre .
