1. OBJECT

The present notification has the aim of contributing to Calvia´s citizens´solidarity with the children of impoverished countries through the awarding of economic aid for the trips and stay of the future parents in the country of origin of their future child, to carry out the international adoption inherent procedures.

2. APPLICATION

The term for the presentation of the application will start the day after the publication of the present notification in the Town Hall bulletin board and its Web page, and will remain open until December 31st 2005.
The application will be formalized through request presented at Calvià Town Hall General Registry Office or through other foreseen forms in the article 38.4 of the Law 30/1992, November 26, of Legal System of the Civil Services and the Common Administrative Procedures.

3. PETITIONERS

The economic aid can be requested by the citizens of Calvià who, from January 1 to December 31 2005, have adopted a child coming from an impoverished country or petitioners that in the 2004 notification would have formalized an application yet in those that had not fallen an award agreement given the non existence of budgetary loan, and that prove through document the following requirements:

• Residence in Calvià in the two previous years to the aid application date, through register certificate of the petitioners. Calvià Town Hall can carry out, through the appropriate legal procedures, the necessary verifications.
• The need of movement and stay in the country of origin of the child, through the institution that has processed the adoption certified .
• Photocopy of the corresponding tickets for the trip, accommodation and bills emited by the person who has issued them.
• Photocopy of the family book and documentation that proves the adoption.

The documents written in different official languages of this Autonomous Region must be presented through legalized translation.

4. PROCEDURES

The deputy mayor of social well-being and health will propose the local cabinet meeting the awarding of economic aid with no procedure other than the previous fiscal file that, in this case, will be limited to keep an eye on the organ´s duty to approve the expenses and the existence of appropriate budgetary loan.

5. ECONOMIC AID AMOUNT

The economic aid that the Town Hall will contribute will be equivalent to the payment of the fifty per cent, with a maximum of two thousand euros (2000€), from the trip expenses and from the expenses of the stay in the country of origin of the child during the time necessary to carry out the appropriate procedures. It all refers exclusively to the last trip carried out to move the child from his original residence to the Municipality of Calvià.

6. PAYMENT

El payment of the economic aid for the international adoption will be carried out entirely from the competent organ of the Municipal Administration.

7. PETITIONERS´DUTIES

The petitioners must:

• Have carried out the movement and stays in the application fixed date, except for other important reasons, which must be properly justified.  
• Submit to the verification actions that the Town Hall carries out.
• Hand in, in a three month maximum term since the economic aid was conceded, a life together certificate of the child.

  8. BUDGET

The assigned quantity in the certificate 140 31308 4890000 of the 2005 budget for this modality adds up to TWELVE THOUSAND EUROS (12.000,00€).
The aid awarding for this concept are subordinated to the existence of the budgetary loan.

ADDITIONAL ORDER

This notification will be ruled by the established in the execution basis of the general budget of this corporation, and in what is not foreseen in the same will be applied additionally with the Law 38/2003, of November 17,  of General Subsidies.
