Calvià Town Hall is the first municipality of the Balearic community to register, with the Ministry of Public Administration (Ministerio de Administraciones Públicas) all projects being financed by the State Fund for Local Investment (Fondo Estatal de Inversión Local), approved by Central Government by legal decree, by which Calvià has been allocated 8,5 million euros.
The Town Hall has registered a total of 37 projects, of which it should be stressed, one is an energy saving plan (Plan de Eficiencia Energética), which will include the upgrading of the electrical and lighting circuits, resulting in a saving of half a million euros per year. Of equal importance are the improvements in drainage systems of several areas of the municipality, the inner city improvements of the whole municipality and refurbishing and improvement projects for both businesses and childrens' playgrounds, among others.
