A severe storm caused flooding and downed trees in the municipality.

A severe storm hit the municipality this morning, causing flooding of streets and sidewalks, as well as downing several trees in different areas. The Local Police had to intervene to remove branches and ensure traffic flow, working in coordination with emergency services and Civil Protection volunteers in Calvià. 

According to the Local Police, there are no reported injuries or fatalities.

The Town Hall thanks Llorenç Galmés, President of the Consell de Mallorca, and Marga Prohens, President of the Government of the Balearic Islands, for their prompt response and collaboration in the emergency. 

Municipal teams continue working to restore normalcy as soon as possible.
