Once again, Calvià celebrates Europe Day with a day full of activities for the whole family. The event will take place next Sunday, 10th May, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the Passeig de la Mar in Palmanova.
The event, organised by Calvià Town Hall, will feature an international market, children's workshops, a parade, and a varied programme of musical performances, making the day a celebration of European coexistence.
The celebration of Europe Day is a popular festival that involves various organisations within Calvià's community. It fosters social cohesion and reaffirms the municipality's commitment to the founding principles of the European Union such as solidarity, cultural diversity, and mutual understanding.
From the Town Hall, the Mayor of Calvià extends an open invitation to residents and visitors of all ages to join in this festive day: "The Passeig de la Mar in Palmanova will be the perfect setting to enjoy a spring Sunday while strengthening ties between the different cultures and nationalities that enrich and give vitality to our municipality throughout the year."
