Calvià closes the year with a wide offering of 120 places in free training courses.

The Calvià Training and Employment Institute (IFOC) presents a new offering of free vocational training courses, aimed at improving citizens' employability and providing them with specific skills in sectors with high job demand. In a clear commitment to training and employment excellence, the courses are being launched for the last four months of the year, with a total of approximately 120 places available.

The programme, which will run from October to December 2025, includes practical and applied training in areas such as hotel business, catering, automotive sector, beauty, and hairdressing, amongst others. Thus, the following courses are offered: barista initiation; basic skills in room staff; non-alcoholic cocktails; Vehicle Electromechanical Assistant; artificial nails and aesthetic care for hands and feet; haircuts and complementary techniques; vehicle preparation for vehicle inspection (MOT); and professional English for restaurant services.


The courses are primarily aimed at unemployed individuals or those seeking employment improvement, registered in the municipality of Calvià. The training will be taught in person at the various locations throughout the municipality. Those interested can visit the IFOC office in Palmanova or register through the website 
ifoc.es. Registration is free until places are filled.

These courses are a clear commitment to training as a key tool for job insertion and are part of the active employment policies promoted by Calvià Town Hall with funding from the SOIB (Balearic Islands Employment Service).
