Calvià Emprèn boosts your entrepreneurial project: A comprehensive support programme with 10.000€ in scholarships and prizes.

Calvià Town Hall, through the Calvià Training and Employment Institute (IFOC), has launched the Calvià Emprèn programme, an initiative aimed at encouraging residents of the municipality to turn their ideas into viable, profitable and promising business projects. The programme is aimed at people registered in Calvià who have a business idea in the initial phase and are committed to developing it.

A comprehensive training and consulting programme

Calvià Emprèn offers a complete free training and consulting programme, consisting of face-to-face workshops and personalised mentoring sessions. The 15 selected individuals will receive expert support to transform their ideas into effective business projects.

The training, which will begin on 14th October 2025, will cover everything from the initial diagnosis of the business idea, market analysis and economic viability, to the development of a digital marketing plan that will include basic concepts and the strategic use of social media. In addition, participants will receive practical training in public speaking to learn how to present their projects clearly and convincingly, increasing their chances of capturing the attention of investors and clients. Selection interviews will be held throughout the month of September.

Financial incentives and prizes

The programme includes a financial incentive of 400 € for all participants who successfully complete the training itinerary. Likewise, the best projects will be recognised at a Final Gala on 27th November, where a first prize of 3.000 € and two prizes of 500 € will be awarded to the second and third best projects.

Team of experts

Calvià Emprèn has a multidisciplinary team of professionals led by Marvin Singhateh, coordinator of this edition and trainer and consultant of the business projects module, through his company Sales & Fit. The teaching and mentoring team is completed by Sergio Pastor (business projects), Ana Ferrer and Laura Rampérez (marketing), and Cristina Faustino (public speaking), all of them experts who will accompany the participants on the path to transforming their ideas into successful projects.
